Events & Partnerships Coordinator

The Hollywood Pantages Theatre is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events and Partnerships Coordinator to support the development and execution of strategic partnerships, promotions, and events. This individual will play a key role in maintaining and growing business-to-business relationships with major media, retail, restaurant, hospitality, transportation, and city/neighborhood partners. Additionally, the Events and Partnerships Coordinator will assist in planning and executing a variety of community engagement initiatives, press events, sales activations, and season ticket holder retention events.
This role requires a motivated self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, a passion for live entertainment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
The culture is extremely energetic and collaborative. The neighborhood and offices are lively and can be loud at times. The Marketing & Communications team currently consists of 6 full-time individuals as well as 2-3 temporary part-time staff and/or interns at any given time working in a large semi-open workspace.

Schedule: 10am-6:30pm, Monday – Friday, occasion required weekend and special events
Travel: May need to travel occasionally to events
Compensation: $26 per hour
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnerships & Promotions:
- Maintain and strengthen existing business relationships with key partners in media, hospitality, retail, and other industries.
- Identify and establish new strategic partnerships to drive audience engagement and ticket sales.
- Develop and execute mutually beneficial marketing partnerships and third-party promotions.
- Leverage existing marketing and promotional contacts in the Los Angeles area to expand outreach opportunities.
- Assist in the negotiation and fulfillment of partnership agreements, ensuring all deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate partnerships into broader marketing and promotional campaigns.
Event Planning & Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute community engagement events, press activations, and promotional events to drive awareness and ticket sales.
- Assist in the organization of season ticket holder retention events and VIP experiences.
- Manage event logistics, including venue coordination, vendor relations, staffing, and on-site execution.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event operations.
- Represent the Hollywood Pantages Theatre at community events, industry functions, and partner activations.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of partnership agreements, event plans, and promotional activations.
- Provide detailed event recaps, including attendance metrics, partner feedback, and promotional impact analysis.
- Serve as a liaison between the theatre and the community, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, tracking budgets, and preparing reports.
- Work evenings and weekends as required for events and partnership engagements.
There is a tremendous opportunity for immersion and growth in this position. You will learn from seasoned entertainment business professionals within the Nederlander Organization, the Broadway touring industry, the media companies and businesses with whom we partner on a regular basis. You will be exposed to press representatives, marketing directors, and talent from touring shows presented by Broadway in Hollywood at the Pantages Theatre and other venues.
DESIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- LOVER and CONSUMER OF BROADWAY SHOWS AND LIVE THEATRE as well as an interest in Broadway history and the Broadway industry.
- Willing to learn and grow.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a professional capacity.
- General understanding or prior experience creating and managing successful marketing partnerships and promotions.
- Team oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Clear and concise communicator – verbally and in writing.
- General knowledge of the Los Angeles market – its demographics, geography, happenings, challenges, opportunities, and the entertainment landscape.
- Interested in marketing to consumers and engaging with the public.
- Experience working directly with the public in event or promotional settings.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn how to manage our website, app, email system and more.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for event setup and breakdown.

Maintenance Technician

Broadway in Hollywood is in search of a highly skilled, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our thriving team at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre, one of Los Angeles' leading homes for legitimate theatre. As the Maintenance Technician, you will perform a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of the historic Hollywood Pantages Theatre.
Job-Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, may occasionally work on weekends.
Reporting to: Maintenance Manager
Compensation: $67,000 per year
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a comparable role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems along with the necessary knowledge of tools needed to complete the tasks
- Exhibit proficiency in comprehending and applying technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate physical endurance and manual dexterity necessary for labor-intensive tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and trades
- Be comfortable working independently as needed
- Ability to use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, etc
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks and repairs on company facilities and equipment to ensure operational efficiency
- Perform thorough inspections to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments, prioritizing urgent needs.
- Troubleshooting and repairs of building and installed systems that include mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, HVAC, shop, ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paint, floor, and additional items as necessary
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and departmental supplies
- Participate in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs
- Exhibit proficiency in the proper use and care of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors/contractors for major repairs, renovations, and improvements
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Pantages directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits

Nederlander West Coast, the premiere presenter for touring Broadway and live entertainment, is looking for an experienced individual to join our Payroll Team to work in our Los Angeles Office located at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre.Position Summary:
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining payroll integrity and supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries.
Our ideal candidate is proficient in ADP software, has a strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance, and excels at handling payroll processes in a fast-paced environment. Salary: $28-$32 per hour/ Salary Range: $58,240 - $66,560 (depending on experience)
Qualifications:
- Solid experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now.
- 4+ years of full-cycle payroll experience with 250+ employees in a multi-state environment.
- Systems savvy with solid Excel, Word & Outlook skills.
- Strong knowledge of wage and tax laws.
- Experience processing union payroll helpful but not necessary.
- A self-starter who takes ownership and who can work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with Union/CBA is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle, weekly, multi-state payroll for 250+ employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Coordinate and monitor hourly employee time submissions including paid sick and vacation time.
- Work with employees and managers to ensure timesheets are accurate and approved
- Review and process new hire information in payroll system.
- Ensure all data is uploaded to the payroll processing system by the submission deadline.
- Review payroll registers for accurate benefit deductions, tax deductions and any other relevant information.
- Assist with researching and resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Update payroll records by entering changes in tax exemptions, checking and savings deductions. Entering Union and Non-Union 401K amounts.
- Respond timely to EDD, child support, FTB and IRS audits.
- Create employee folders and file paperwork.
- Review year-end reports and ensure W-2’s are accurate and adjust as needed.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding benefits and accurate deductions.
- Employee liaison for questions and issues related to payroll.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping confidential information.

Prop Master

Broadway in Hollywood is in search of a highly skilled, experienced Prop Master to join our thriving team at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre, one of Los Angeles' leading homes for legitimate theatre. As the Prop Master, you will be instrumental in the continuing success of the Touring Productions at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Prop Master or Assistant Prop Master in legitimate theater, or on a touring production.
- Must have excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently and cooperatively with a variety of personalities, in a time-constrained and rapidly changing work environment.
- Have knowledge of, enforce, and adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations, fostering a secure working environment for all employees.
- Take charge of the Local Crews, working with Production Touring Crews, providing expert guidance to ensure projects are completed with precision, on schedule, and within budget.
- Knowledge of the needs of all departments associated with theatrical production, including load-ins, performances, load-outs, and maintenance calls.
- The Hollywood Pantages Theatre is a 100% Roadhouse. The willingness to work with Touring Companies and Touring employees is a MUST.
REPORTING TO: Technical Director
WORK SCHEDULE: Regularly 8 shows per week plus show work calls and venue maintenance calls as needed, plus load ins and load outs for all shows. Schedule set by the touring show and Technical Director. Hours regularly include weekends, evenings, and holidays, and can be long / overnight.
COMPENSATION: This is a Union position. Rates and benefits paid per the Local 33 CBA. The current hourly base rate is $53.96.

These days it's one of Los Angeles' leading homes of legitimate theatre and a favorite "location" for tv shows, movies and music videos.
